“Addiction” is the second shawl in the 2014 “Obsessive Compulsive Knitting Disorder” series from Threebagsfulled. A Mystery KAL being hosted on the Criminal Knits Group it will run for 12 weeks… yup, 12 weeks, after all this is a 12 step KAL for the seriously addicted knitter! rofl.

This full PI shawl will be worked from the center out using the brilliant umbilical cord/belly button cast on technique. It will start June 4th with clues being released every Wednesday.

Please Note: While some people did bead this pattern, there are no directions for beading in the directions.

Materials:

Please use solid, tonals or SLOW color changing yarns

Yarn: 2 of the SAME COLORWAY of Wolle’s Color Changing Cotton 100 gram skeins 480 yds each.Yes, 2 of the same colorway

Or any fingering weight yarn of NO LESS than 960 yds tonals or solids ONLY or any other SLOW color changing yarn

Needles: The main body of the shawl is going to use Size 7 circular needles. Because of the nature of a PI shawl you need either dpns or 2 short size 7 circs for the c/o. You will also need a 24” and a 40” as the shawl grows.

Never done a full PI before? This will be the perfect one to get you started! I promise!
