This is a multi wear waistcoat which is very easy to make and can be left edge to edge and loose, lapped over and secured with a shawl pin or belt, or the top corner of the right front can be threaded up and down through the holes in the left front, gathered, pulled up through and draped over. Either way it makes for a cosy extra layer when needed.
