Adélaïde shawl
Construction : Adélaïde shawl starts at the center back of the neck with a garter tab and is knit down to the bottom edge. The shape is a nod to Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Pi shawl with the number of stitches roughly doubling at every increase row.
Pattern is both written and charted.
Size and yardage : I used approximately 730 yards (667 m) of light fingering weight yarn and my shawl ended up to be 57” (145 cm) wide by 29” (75 cm) deep after blocking.
