Adelaster Shawl
Ad.e.las.ter ~ a provisional name for a plant which has not had its flowers botanically examined, and therefore has not been referred to its proper genus.
A pretty crochet shawl in two sizes using either:
1 x 100g 4ply/fingering weight yarn + 1 x 20g contrast mini
or
2 x 100g 4ply/fingering weight yarn + 1 x 20g contrast mini
The pattern has all the information on sizing/tension/meterage (as weight used) for both shawls but in summary:
The smaller version uses Blacker Yarns Tamar Lustre Blend 4ply in Tiddy Brook for both the main section and the contrast (1 x 100g + 20g contrast).
The larger shawl sample uses Cascade Heritage 4ply in Dusky Coral (2 x 100g) for the main section with Black Elephant Sock in the shade Maui (1 x 20g) for the contrast.
The shawl is a shallow triangle, crocheted from the bottom point upwards, increasing by one row repeat on each row. It is then blocked and a contrasting ruffle edging added.
The pattern has been tech edited and tested.
