As always in my pattern designs, I hope to introduce the knitter to a new technique with instructions clear enough for the person using the technique for the first time. This time that technique is the slipped stitch sections of the poncho. There are no charts, as there is no lace in this pattern.

The poncho is knit from the bottom up and has 3 sections consisting of 2 different slipped stitch designs. After the slipped stitch designs are complete the poncho is shaped with decreases as you knit toward the neck.

Finished measurements are determined by which style you knit.

This design was inspired by the magnificent fibers from Adirondack Yarns in Lake Placid, New York. Their Spirited Fibers Worsted Weight yarn was the highlighted yarn in this pattern. http://www.adirondackyarns.com/
