A dear friend of mine is known for always wearing a bow tie. When he and his wife discovered they were having a boy, I made it my mission to create a little bow tie for the new baby.

This pattern would be easily adapted to make the bow tie larger or smaller. As-written, the band ends up being about 12” with 4 button holes but you can make it as long or as short as you need.

This uses only small amounts of yarn so it’s great for using up scraps of whatever you have handy.

This is my first attempt at a pattern so please let me know if any corrections need to be made.
