Here are free patterns to relieve the constant pressure on the ears of key workers (not to mention latex allergies). 2 patterns - one for the beginner knitter which is basic knit and purl. For the intermediate knitter, there is a pattern that incorporates buttonholes so that the extender is adjustable to preference. 2 buttons, between 18mm and 22m are needed to complete the project.
For anybody who downloaded the pattern prior to January 2021, rows 5-8 on the standard pattern should read ‘work 4 rows’.
