Adonis Scarf
Named after the Greek god of rebirth, Adonis Scarf is the perfect project for giving new life to your old leftover yarn!
The scarf can be knitted in whatever yarn on whatever needle size you would like. Depending on which gauge you hit, the width of the scarf will vary.
Here are a couple of yarn suggestions with matching gauge, width and amount of yarn needed:
-
2 strands of mohair on 3,5 mm needles: 28 sts x 34 rows, 8,25 cm wide, approx. 90 g/405 m.
-
1 strand of Karen Klarbæk Organic Color Cotton and 1 strand of mohair on 4 mm needles: 22 sts x 29 rows, 9,5 cm wide, approx. 126 g/426 m of Organic Color Cotton and approx. 38 g/314 m of mohair.
-
1 strand of Drops Air on 5,5 mm needles: 17 sts x 22 rows, 14 cm wide, approx. 120 g/360 m.
