SKILLS:
To knit this shawl you need to know how to knit two-colour brioche stitch. You will find a description of each stitch in the abbreviations section.

CONSTRUCTION:
This shawl is knit top-down, starting at the centre of the top border, then growing to the sides and down, its final shape is triangular.

SIZES:
One size. Approx. 200cm (80”) along the top edge and 75 cm (30”) from top down, after blocking.

NEEDLES:
3,5 mm (US 4) / 80 cm (32”) circular needles, or the required needle size to obtain gauge. Needles one size larger at least, for bind-off.

YARN:
2 skeins of fingering weight yarn (100 gr / 420 m) in two colors for the shawl body, ½ skein of fingering weight (50 gr/ 210m) for the ending

GAUGE:
16 stitches and 25 rows in 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) in brioche stitch, after blocking.

ANTES DE EMPEZAR:
Es necesario tener conocimientos de punto brioche para poder tejer este chal.

El grosor del hilo y la muestra son orientativos, incluso la utilización de colores este chal se puede tejer con el grosor que se desee, y se pueden alternar colores en las secciones e incluso tejer la parte de brioche en un color y la parte de calados en otro.

CONSTRUCCIÓN:
Este chal, triangular, se comienza tejiendo por la parte central superior y va creciendo (top down) hasta llegar a la puntilla. El cuerpo del chal se teje en punto Brioche con dos colores con una parte con calado sencillo en color sólido. La puntilla alterna puntos del derecho y del revés.
Es un chal perfecto para iniciarse en la técnica del brioche.

MUESTRA:
16 puntos y 25 vueltas para una muestra de 10x10 cm (4”x 4”) en punto brioche, una vez bloqueado, con aguja de 3,5mm (US 4) o la que sea necesaria.

MATERIAL NECESARIO:
2 madejas de dos colores en hilo grosor fingering (100 gr / 420 m) para el cuerpo del chal y ½ madeja de hilo grosor fingering (50 gr/ 210m) para la puntilla.
