Adult & Smart Doll Xmas hat
Size: For Smart Doll and adult.
Materials:
Doll version:
• Crochet hook: 1.5 mm
• Yarn: Lace yarn – Rico Design, Essentials crochet 100% cotton mercerized in the following colours:
o Elf version: you will need 50g ball in red (004), 50g ball in white (001) and 50g ball in dark green (026) (PS: for the green colour I used Scheepjes Maxi Sugar Rush (606) grass green).
o Father Christmas version: you will need two 50g ball in red (004) and a 50g ball in white (001).
• Pompom maker – to make a 1-inch (2cm) diameter pompom
• Charms or jingle bell 1.5cm diameter
• Sewing/tapestry needle
• Scissors
Gauge: With recommended needle size and matching yarn, a square of 10cm/4” made in dc = 35 stitches, 40 rows
Adult version:
• Crochet hook: 3.0 mm
• Yarn: any DK yarn such as Cygnet Everyday Pato, Scheepjes Colour Crafter, James C Brett Baby etc
o Elf version: you will need 100g ball in red, 100g ball in white and 100g ball in dark green.
o Father Christmas version: you will need two 100g balls in red and one 100g ball in white.
• Pompom maker – to make a 2-inch (5cm) diameter pompom
• If making pompom in popcorn stitch: fibre staffing and one or two jingle bell charms.
• Sewing/tapestry needle
• Scissors
Gauge: With recommended needle size and matching yarn, a square of 10cm/4” made in tr = 19 stitches, 10 rows
Pattern is written in UK terms but there is table on the second page converting the terms to USA.
