This balaclava is knit in fingering weight yarn meant to be a snug fit for under a helmet during winter activities. If knit in a worsted weight yarn, it is much thicker and warmer. Pattern calls for 203 meters of worsted or 391 meters of fingering.

Sized for adult wearing size large helmet, and child ages 6-10. The pattern is easily adjusted to make it larger or smaller.

3/8 gauge loom with 50+ pegs
Techniques needed: cast-on, ewrap, purl, basic bind-off, drawstring cast-off.
