This is a very basic dickey pattern. Nothing fancy and a very quick knit.

I used Sport Weight (3) because the lady who requested the pattern spins most of her yarn in that weight! Works for me.

There are no seams. Straight up the front, do the shoulders and then down the back. Pick up and knit the stitches for the neck.

If a person doesn’t want a rolled neck there is also the option of making a crew neck instead.
