Instructions for Child/Woman’s 5/6 to Men’s 11/12

SKILL LEVEL:
* Intermediate

Pattern is written in English with Standard American Terms.
Stitches used: Chain, Slip stitch, Single Crochet, Half Double Crochet, Half Double Crochet 2 Together, Double Crochet, & Double Crochet 2 Together

Materials Needed:

• Hooks: 6.5mm (or 6mm for relaxed crocheters) and 9mm for Fold Over - 2.5 & 5.0mm hooks recommended for beginning of suede bottoms
• Yarn: These patterns were designed for Lion Brand Yarn Wool-Ease Thick & Quick (size 6 Super Bulky), but other similar yarns can be used such as We Are Knitters “The Wool”, or faux fur (weight size #5) Approximate yardage needed: 212-260 yards, depending on size and style
• Split Suede and Sheep Shearling
• Artificial Sinew: for stitching suedes onto the straight crochet versions as well as to reinforce yarn on sueded soles ----Also included are the stores and websites were I purchase all of my supplies.----

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS HEEL-TOE:
Women’s Size 5/6 - 9.25”
Women’s Size 7/8 - 9.75”
Women’s Size 9/10 & Men’s Size 7/8 - 10.5”
Women’s Size 11/12 & Men’s Size 9/10 - 11”
Women’s Size 13/14 & Men’s Size 11/12 - 11.5”

Instructions are clearly laid out first as straight crochet versions in each of the sizes, and then adapted for the sueded sole bottoms. (Also explains how to add the Sheep Shearling inside when using sueded soles, which is recommended for extra softness and warmth).
