Adult Saunter poncho comfortable oversized garment which is perfect staple garment for any wardrobe. It is designed with plenty of positive ease, modified raglan sleeves and curve bottom edge. Front of poncho is decorated with beautiful cables combo. Pattern written for two options - turtle neck collar and hood.
The width measurements of the poncho are included edge band.
The poncho is knitted bottom up on straight needles. Front, back and sleeves of poncho knitted separately. After the raglan seams closed, the stitches picked up for the collar or hood and edge band. For the better fit of hood, there are couple of rows are knitted in the round for the short collar. Then the hood is knitted back and forth. The hood band is also knitted in the round. The poncho is designed with positive ease of 20-25 cm/8-10 inches.
The attached wooden buttons used as decoration and for joining front and back together. You can add one or two buttons each side.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS S-M (L-XL; 2XL; 3XL-4XL; 5XL):

• Chest: 132 (144; 158; 172; 190) cm / 52 (56¾; 62¼; 67¾; 78⅞) inches
• Length of poncho: 69 (72; 76; 78; 84) cm / 27¼ (28⅜; 30; 30¾; 33) inches

TOOLS & MATERIALS REQUIRED:

• 13 (15; 17; 20; 22) x 50 g wool yarn for collar option poncho; add 2 skeins for hood option
• Knitting needles size US 6 (4.0 mm)
• Circular needle size US 4 (3.5 mm) x 50 cm
• Circular needle size US 6 (4.0 mm) x 150 cm or longer
• Cable needle, knitters needle or crochet hook
• 16 x stitch markers
• 4 x 2.5 cm /1 inch buttons

RECOMMENDED YARN:
- Blacker Swan DK

TYPE OF YARN: DK/ 8-ply
YARN LENGTH: 119 yds (110 m) in 50g skein

GAUGE: 19 stitches and 27 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch using needle US 6 (4.0 mm)
