This drawstring crochet bag was designed to hold the 24 balls of yarn for my Advent Chain pattern but it could also be used as a gift bag on its own. It’s a good size for a project bag too, being about 23 cm / 9” tall (measured up to the drawstring).

The bag is worked in the round with the main section being striped moss stitch in three festive shades. The drawstrings are Roumanian cord which is quick and easy to work and these are finished with little stuffed snowballs. There are instructions for an optional firm base for the bag.
