Welcome to my Advent scarf for 2022. The scarf will be a long rectangle shape and is a geometric design. The theme this year is basketweave stitches and I am using the intarsia technique to achieve the design that I wanted. I’m using 7 colours, and the minimum you could use would be 5 colours. Of course, you could always use more colours. Don’t let the intarsia intimidate you, as there are never more than 3 colours used in a row. You will need 650-800 yards of sport weight yarn.

You can use any yarn you want, just keep in mind that length and width of your finished scarf will change.

This scarf is free from November 2 until December 26th with the coupon code intarsia. On the 26th of December the pattern will be made inactive while I edit the pattern and add images. Once it is active again, there will be a fee.

This year I am releasing a coordinating hat and mitten pattern which will be released in the first week of December.
