There’s nothing quite like opening your first mystery mini skein as you start an advent calendar. The magic of the new yarn is undeniable, and you want to cast on right away and knit all of it! Except sometimes, life gets in the way. You have to work late, or someone is sick and needs you, or dinner didn’t work out, and the next thing you know, you’re falling behind. You just don’t have enough hours in the month to knit all of the beautiful yarn!

With this set, you’ll be able to keep up much more easily! You can use a small portion of each of your mini skeins and have plenty left for a larger project, but still get the satisfaction of having a completed project using your beautiful new yarns. The hat uses approximately 10 yards of each color, and the handwarmers use approximately 4 yards of each color, plus a contrasting solid held double with a coordinating mohair.
