Advent Twinkle
A quick & fun crochet make for the Festive Season, these stars would make ideal hanging ornaments, gift tags, or … even garlands. I designed this star to ‘pop’ & not look flat. It is designed NOT to be blocked, as this would flatten it out too much. Of course, it is your choice whether to block or not.
I used DK weight yarn in the initial sample & then I made a LARGE one withT Shirt yarn. (See photos) The beauty of this design, is that any size will crochet up quickly! You are only limited by what you choose to use! Ideal for using up scraps of festive looking yarn! Or anything resembling yarn!
The pattern assumes you have a working knowledge of how to crochet stitches together as clusters. I have included a link in the pattern, for anyone who would like to attempt this or be reminded of how it’s done. I would like to say a beginner could attempt this, but I would recommend a little bit more experience perhaps. Having said that, it’s not unattainable, and it’s not hugely difficult!
