This is a continuation of my camping themed designs.
Camping has always been a big part of my life. I’ve camped in tents, tent trailers (even a handmade tent trailer), travel trailers, RVs, and now I own a vintage 1975 Holidaire Trailer. To me, there’s nothing better than sitting at the campsite, listening to the birds or the breeze rustle leaves, looking at a view or staring into the campfire. I’m always looking at new adventures in my trailer.

These mittens are knit cuff up and have an afterthought thumb. I used a heavier sock yarn and US1 ½ (2.5mm) needles. If a tighter rib is desired, use a US1 (2.25mm) for the rib. Additional sizes can be accomplished by using smaller or larger needles and thinner or thicker yarn.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. length from wrist to fingertip 6 ¾ (7 ¾, 8 ¾) inches/17 (19.5, 22) cm; Approx. circumference, not stretched: 7 ½ (8, 9) inches/19 (20, 22.5) cm
