My first KAL ever!

Adventure Seeker is a triangular shawl worked in unique no-repeat lace patterns. Today you’ll find downloaded instructions for the set-up and first pattern. From now on, the file will be updated with each next pattern on every Monday. When finished, the final version will be available for sale.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Beginner/Intermediate

SIZE
It’s a one size shawl. However it can be resized by working with yarn weight and needles.

MATERIALS
—540 to 600 yards of Lace weight yarn
—3.5mm (US 4) circular needles
—Tapestry needle
—4mm crochet hook
Though the pattern calls for a lace weight yarn you may opt for some Light Fingering or Fingering yarn. Mind that in such case you’ll need more yarn than required.

Errata
Pattern 2
Row 17, the 4th st should be k2tog instead of sk2p

Pattern 3
Row 9, the 2nd st should be k1 instead of skp

Fri, 29 June:
The current pattern version is missing BO instructions.
After working the edging bind off all sts using your preferred method of elastic BO.

Updated, i.e. final, pattern version will be uploaded on Mon, 2 July.

Notes
As I can see from the forum discussion, one of the mostly asked questions is whether the patterns are mirrored.
Actually, the are not. The charts are given for both halves of the shawl, i.e. after working the right half, you knit the left one the same. However you may mirror the charts but this doesn’t affect the patterning.
