I really wanted to make a large shawl using this epic magic cake but had NO interest in the loooong rows of purling that might ensue. So I curated a pattern using stitch patterns that are knit on the RS and more interesting that just purls on the WS!

With no row counting, this pattern also works well with mini’s and left over bits and bobs.

Yarn

1. Big Kahuna Version: Chelsea Yarns “The Big Kahuna” 300g cake of assorted fingering weight yarns (not all are the exact same base!)
2. Unicorn Tail Version: 8 colours of Madeline Tosh Unicorn Tails (Tosh Merino Light) from a Mystery Kit and my stash
3. DK Version: 5 colour Madeline Tosh Tiny Twists Kit called Road Trip

Needles

1. 4mm
2. 3.75mm
3. 5.5mm

Stitches: Knit, Purl, yarn over, k2tog, p2tog

I used a bind-of/edging that I could not find a video for, so I made one! Find the Garter Tab Bind-Off here!
