This top-down shawl is worked back and forth on a
long circular needle, and although it creates a near
perfect square shape when laid flat, it drapes
beautifully when worn either centered at the back
or asymmetrically across the shoulders. By the
time you reach the lace edging you will have a lot
of stitches on your needles, therefore, I suggest
using ring stitch markers to mark the beginning of
every lace pattern repeat to assist in keeping track
of your stitches.
