Originally conceived as a chemo hat, this hat is wearable for everyone. The bias stitch pattern for the hat body is complimented by crown design. A simple garter st band finishes the hat and is very comfortable to wear.

Project sizing & materials

Finished measurement:

• Band: 14 (16, 18) inches circumference
• Depth: 8 (8 1/2, 9) inches measured from edge of band to center top of crown

Materials:

• LavenderSheep Superwash Sport (sport weight; 100% superwash merino; 340 yds/4 oz per skein) ~ 1 skein
• US 5 (3.75mm) 16-inch circular needle and set of 5 dpns; or size to obtain gauge
• US 3 (3.25mm) 16-inch circular needle
• Crochet hook G/6
• Stitch markers
• Scrap yarn
