These cozy mittens are knit in worsted weight yarn, and thus are very warm for those chilly fall and winter months. With a simple yet striking cable, they maintain visual interest while being fairly quick to knit.
Sizes Available:
Women’s Small: Approximately 6.5” around at fingers
Women’s Medium/Men’s Small: Approximately 7” around at fingers
Women’s Large/Men’s Medium: Approximately 8” around at fingers
Men’s Large: Approximately 9” around at the fingers
Materials:
- 4.5mm (7US) dpns, or size required to meet gauge
- 1 skein (115g/195yds) East Anchor Yarns Handpainted Worsted (2 ply). Pictured in colourway “Naturals.”
- 1 stitch holder
- 2 place markers
- Darning needle
- Cable needle
Skills Required:
- Cast on
- Knit and purl stitches (in the round)
- 2x2 ribbing (in the round)
- Increase/m1 (using method of choice)
- Follow a basic chart (in the round)
- Cable stitches back and front
