The Affirmation blanket combines the strength of diagonal, vertical and horizontal lines that you can colorwash with as many shades as you like (or are in the stash). Color transitions are worked alternating old and new shades to create a gentle colorwash. The garter stitch elements in each stitch pattern really show off those fabulous variegated yarns. The blanket is square, sized for baby or lap, however it is easily customizable. Affirmation begins in the center and is worked in the round to the outer border. The pattern has both written and charted instructions.
