This pattern is the September design for the 2024 YOD pattern club.

This month’s dishcloth design is inspired by one of my favourite treats from a country I have never visited but that is definitely on my bucket list! Affogato is a delicious Italian coffee treat where a shot of hot espresso is poured over a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can also pour a little liqueur overtop for extra yumminess! Everyone who knows me knows how much I love coffee, and adding ice cream is simple perfection!

The Affogato Dishcloth is a simple, easy-to-memorize pattern based on a 2 x 2 rib design with some fun eyelet added in. You’ll definitely want to block it once you’re done! I chose a lightly speckled coffee coloured worsted weight cotton for my sample and I can’t wait to see the colours you’ll choose!
