Afghan In One Day
With my One-Day Afghan Crochet Pattern you really can make a standard sized afghan in one day - you don’t need to settle for just a baby or lap size blanket!
Part of the secret to the speed of making this afghan is the size of the crochet hook (M /13 or 9.00 mm), and the thickness of the yarn. It is worked with two strands of light worsted (double knitting/8 ply yarn) at the same time, and double crochet stitch is used throughout to keep it ultra quick and easy.
The finished afghan measures approximately 72 inches long and 48 inches wide (182 cm by 121 cm). You will need a total of six 4 oz skeins (100g balls) of yarn to complete the afghan (two skeins of each color).
My goal is to make my patterns workable by all skill levels; they are written in plain English so that you can successfully complete any of my patterns regardless of your previous crochet experience.
