Afghan In-the-round
I dreamed up this afghan based on some craft store yarn that was given to me. For some reason, my brain went straight to afghan. Probably because the acrylic boucle and fleecy stuff would be hideous to wear. It’s about the most basic type of “lace” possible, so don’t let it scare you!
It’s a pretty simple design: working a square, then knitting in the round around its edges.
I added in color the simplest way possible. When I ran out of the first enormo skein, I tied the end to the start of a new skein with the fleecy stuff. Repeat until all skeins desired are now pulled into the afghan.
After a while, it got to a point that it was definitely a knit-only-at-home project, but I’m very happy with the results!
