The finished Eagle, when worked in a cotton amigurumi yarn, will measure approximately 7” beak to tail. This will of course vary with weights of yarn and hook/tension. I used Scheepjes Catona but any similar yarn will work.

This pattern is relatively easy to follow but does require basic crochet knowledge of single and double crochet and the ability to work a magic ring. Everything is easily learnt from Youtube if you are not 100% sure. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms. You also have a download for a free ‘How to Crochet“ guide, written by me as a little extra help.

You will need mercerised cotton yarn, or similar, a 2mm hook, or one that suits your yarn and stuffing and safety eyes.

It is worked in African Flower shapes with instructions in written form with lots of photographs and handy hints to follow for assembly.
