To make your peacock you will need

Scheepjes Catona yarn in the following colours
Approximately 25g Petrol Blue (400), 15g Vivid Blue (146), 10g), 10g Ginger Gold (383), 10g Kiwi (205), 5g Deep Amethyst (508), 2g Charcoal, 2g Snow White(106) and 1g Jet Black
You can use any alternative matching weight yarn and a hook a few sizes smaller than the ball band states but you would have to experiment to see how small a hook you could use. 4ply equivalents are also known as fingering, sock or baby weight. The peacock is a great stash buster.
I used a 2mm crochet hook Darning needle Toy stuffing
8mm brown and black safety eyes or you could use plain black
Stitch markers and Dressmakers pins.
