Materials
All weights are approximate and will vary depending on the brand of yarn you choose and how tightly you crochet.

For the pumpkins I used:
Stylecraft double knit in
Spice 150g
Tomato 90g

Stylecraft Aran yarn for the hats
Black 60g
Green- 10g
Orange/spice-10g
Purple -15g

For the eyes, nose and mouths
Yarn art jeans in black 15g
Yarn art in white- small amount for eyes.

10cm/4inches Cardboard disc for the base of the pumpkin stack
A weight. I use small concrete blocks or large pebbles.
Toy stuffing.

Hooks required
2.5 mm
3.5 mm

Size
By using this yarn and hook sizes your finished pumpkin stack will be roughly
60 cm/24inches in height
30cm/12 inches in width.

This pattern uses US terms, the hats are worked in a spiral so using stitch markers is highly recommended 
Ch = chain stitch
Sc = single crochet
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Tr = treble crochet
Sc2tog = single crochet decrease
FLO = Front loop only
BLO = Back loop only

This pattern is easy to follow but requires basic crochet knowledge.
It is written in US terms but easy to convert to UK.
