After Five is a seamless cowl that uses two variations of a simple mosaic stitch to show off the beauty of the squishy hand-dyed yarn. There are two rounds that use stranded knitting but the rest of the cowl is slipped stitch mosaic that uses one color per round.
The pattern is fully written
YARN
Artyarns Silky Twist – 80% wool, 20% silk; 220 yards (201 m) per 100 grams (3.53 oz) skein
Color A: 220 yards and Color B: 220 yards
Sample shown in H19(dark brown) as Color A and 2234 (mint) as Color B
MEASUREMENTS
Circumference: 22”
Height: 9”
NEEDLES
US#7/4.50mm - 16”/40cm circular needles – 2 pairs and DPNs for three needle BO
TOOLS
One marker, scrap yarn, crochet hook for provisional cast on and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends/grafting
GAUGE
22 sts per 4” using US#7/4.50 mm needles in Mosaic Stitch I steam blocked
