This crochet pattern is a fine-weight version of the popular worsted weight After the Rain Throw released in 2023. You will receive both versions when you purchase either. These separate listings showcase the finished piece in different yarn weights - the results are so different, and each is uniquely beautiful!

Imagine a fabulous throw for your lounge chair or a lovely large wrap, both created in this lighter-weight version. The drape in fine-weight yarn with a 3.5mm (E) hook is perfect! The throw folds beautifully in half, making it a super rectangular wrap for cooler days.

For this throw/wrap, I’ve used both Hobbii Dahlia and Sultan Gradient by Cotton Kings, and both finished pieces are stunning. The pattern works beautifully with these gorgeous variegated yarns. You’ll need three cakes of either to create a beautiful piece measuring approx. 48” x 48” (122cm x 122cm).

Sit quietly or with your current Netflix binge series or audiobook, and enjoy the meditative repeats as the rounds move from colour to colour through your hands.
