In the original rainbow Pride Flag created in 1978, there are 8 stripes that each have a specific meaning, the indigo stripe represents serenity. This design uses a simple and easily memorizable lace repeat that creates a stunning sock. Also combining the lace with a center twisted stitch cable makes this perfect sock for someone looking for a relaxing project to help bring them some serenity!

Sizing

Choose the size that gives you 1-2 inches of negative ease.
Sizing is based on the circumference of the foot, not the length. To figure out the length of foot you need to knit, use the row gauge to calculate the number of rounds you will need to knit for your foot size and subtract by 1.5”(1.75”,2”) inches for the toe or try your sock on as you go!

S (M, L) – Circumference 8-9” (9-10”, 10-11”)

I am a tight knitter and I’ve found that most knitters get gauge by sizing down one needle size from my recommendation.
