Afternoon Delight is another sock that evolved when I wanted to knit something simple, yet still interesting.

Afternoon Delight is relaxing and pleasurable, everything you want for a quiet afternoon- or evening- at home. It has an interesting texture that appeals to men and women, with all elements perfectly aligned from the ribbing to the toe.

The pattern shifts slightly at the heel, in order to keep the pattern symmetrical on the foot, and the patterning flows seamlessly into the heel.

The pattern has been worked in solid and variegated yarns and both work well with this stitch pattern.

The stitch pattern is easy to memorise, which makes it a great project for on-the-go knitting.
