An afternoon cup of tea is more than just a pick-me-up; it’s a moment to stop and relax during a busy day. Whether it’s caffeinated or decaf, tea or tisane, sweetened or black, there’s something meditative about making your tea and sipping it. The eight row repeat lace pattern of these socks is the same; it requires enough of your attention to ground you in the moment, but goes by almost too quickly once you’re in the swing of things. The cuff can be worn turned down or left up, depending on what you prefer!

Sizes
There are three sizes available in pattern, small (18cm foot circumference), medium (20cm foot circumference), and large (22.5cm foot circumference). Note that the sizes listed are measured around the sock, so find your size by measuring your foot and then subtracting 10%.

Yarn and Yardage
Tonal or lightly variegated yarn will best show off the lace panel, but feel free to use whatever you yarn you like. 180 - 260 yards are needed for this pattern, depending on size.

Notions
Knitting needles (DPNs or circulars will work), darning needle, stitch markers, and sock blockers.

In addition to knowledge of cuff down, in the round, heel flap and gusset sock construction, basic knowledge of lace work is needed for this pattern. The instructions for the lace are both charted and written.
