This pattern is intended to be a recipe for vanilla socks with an afterthought heel. These are recommended instructions, but can easily be customized for size if required. The pattern includes instructions for knitting socks top-down or toe-up.

This pattern was inspired by and designed for the sock sets created by Dream in Color, but can be done with any standard skein of sock yarn and coordinating mini skein.
