The agave tee is a casual piece which fits perfect to skirts and jeans. It is seamlessly knitted from top to bottom, back and forth, with daisy stitches decorating the shoulders and the back. The neckband is worked first, then raglan stitches on the shoulders at the front and the back, while at the same time shaping the V-neck. Sleeves are worked afterwards on double pointed needles.

The pattern is called “Agave” as the three-pointed stitches of the daisy stitch more than reminding me of daisies, remind me of a sketch of the agave plant. Plus, daisy in Spanish translates to “Margarita” which doubles as the beloved tequila cocktail which comes from the juice of this very same plant.

Adaptations can be done to the achieve another sleeve and/or body length and even another V-neck depth.
