Agern Scrunchie
When I was a child, I loved collecting acorns. There was a handful in my pocket, a couple in my pencil case, one at the bottom of my bookbag. They were scattered inside my school desk. Agern means acorn in my native language, Danish. The little bow on this scrunchie reminded me of the ears on little forest animals, such as squirrels. And for reasons I can’t figure out, making and collecting these reminded me of collecting acorns as a child.
