Yarn and colors
For spinners:
I have used handspun yarn in 6 different color arrangements. The fibre is mainly BFL-wool in the colorway ”Nældens Takvinge” from Garngalleriet Mikrofarveri. The yarn is approx. 200 meters / 100 grams.
A: Left front: Long color sequences
B: Left sleeve: Ultrashort color sequences
C: Left back: Short color sequences
D: Right back: Fractal spinning
E: Right sleeve: Medium long color sequences
F: Right front: Total mix.
For non-spinners:
Yarn suggestions:
Use any yarn that is approx. 200 meters / 100 g and gives you a pleasant fabric with correct gauge.
Noro Silk Garden, Kureyon or Ito would be great choices! So would 2 strands of any fingering yarn – perhaps from your stash.
The important thing is to make sure you have 6 colors/shades, A – F, – 1 for each section of intarsia.
Yarn amount (estimatited):
A: 70 / 70 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 130 / 150 grams
B: 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 150 / 150 grams
C: 70 / 70 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 130 / 150 grams
D: 70 / 70 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 130 / 150 grams
E: 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 150 / 150 grams
F: 70 / 70 / 100 / 100 / 100 / 130 / 150 grams
Edging: 30 / 35 / 40 / 50 / 50 / 70 / 70 grams

4,5 mm (US 7) / 40 cms (16 in.) for sleeves and 80 cms (32 in.) for the yoke and body. Double pointed needles (DPN) for sleeves.
