The Ahad Bag is knitted with large needles and T-Shirt yarn to create a bag with a modern silhouette while incorporating the look of Brunei Darussalam’s traditional weaving techniques.

It is a beginner-friendly pattern with a textured stitch that provides durability and firmness to the bag.

CONSTRUCTION
The Ahad bag is worked seamlessly from top down with the stitch pattern worked throughout the bag. Once the desired length is reached, the bag is knitted together, and the stitches are picked up for the straps at one side and attached to the other.

A sewing tutorial for the lining and zipper is included in the pattern.

Jumbo weight yarn, needles, scissors, darning needle, measuring tape, stitch maker, spare knitting needles.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

• 10 mm (US 15) needles or any size to obtain gauge.

YARN:

The Red Sample is knitted in Size S, with Hoooked Zpagetti in Shade Red (approximately 1 skein or 30 m / 33 yds) on 10 mm (US 15) needles.

The Green Sample is knitted in Size L, with Hoooked Zpagetti in Shade Green (approximately 2 skeins or 63 m / 69 yds) on 10 mm (US 15) needles.

YARDAGE:

Additional yardage may be required if you opt to lengthen the piece.
