Ahoy! It’s a Boy! knitted baby blanket pattern is a very easy project that can be completed by any beginner knitter. It’s composed out of knits and purls, so it shouldn’t cause any difficulty. It’s simple, yet catches the eye. I think simple patterns give great effects. This pattern is a variation on the Oh, Boy! Baby Blanket, but this time it’s hearts surrounded with diamonds and boats, so a maritime theme again.

The PDF pattern includes written instructions as well as a graphic chart with place to mark your progress row by row, which comes in handy when repeating the sections.

This pattern is designed specifically for DROPS Baby Merino yarn and is written for 1 size only: 100 x 90 cm. To complete the pattern you will need almost 8 skeins of the chosen yarn colour and 3,0mm circular needles with 80cm cable.
