“This piece has been designed with and for Aidan, the fifteen-year-old son of a good friend who has been knitting for longer than she cares to remember! Aidan, like many children of knitters, has an appreciation for the finer yarns, and this top has been worked in 100% cashmere and silk. He came up with the colourway, the rib pattern, fit and design, detail on the sleeve/neck edging. I knitted it up, wrote up and have promised to split the fee! We both agreed that a tank top was not only bang on trend, but allowed for arms to carry on growing (and it does seem that teenagers do carry on growing…). The sizing is all very generous so it can be worn over a jumper or over a hoody, and will either last for years or can be ripped up to make a new jumper.”
