The longer length of this charming cardigan makes it a really cosy option.The full Moss (Seed) stitch hem is really flattering, though rather hungry on yarn. If you wanted to stash bust and were worried about quantity this would be the place to cut down length.
The ‘ flower’ pattern panel really adds to the overall design but it could be ommitted for a simpler overall look. The ‘flower’ does not appear on the back.
This is such a brilliant cardi that many friends have knit it twice; usually it is the sleeves that children outgrow first so it may be an idea to keep some yarn and extend its life by lengethening the sleeves when necessary.
Not the quickest toddler knit but interesting to knit and the result is always very much appreciated.
