The Ainster socks are a stranded colour work pair of socks knitted in the round. They are constructed top down with a folded cuff, heel flap, turn and gusset. The instructions are given for fingering or 4ply weight yarn (typically 400m for 100g). This pattern is suitable for intermediate knitters: the knitter is required to cast on, knit, purl, slip and pick up stitches.
