Ainsworth
Ainsworth is an oversized drop shoulder pullover with a saddle. The sweater is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up. The silhouette is based on traditional Aran pullovers and is suitable for a range of body types. Choose your size based on the finished chest measurement and the recommended ease. The cable patterns are simple and easy to memorize, and carefully-planned selvedge stitches simplify sewing the sweater together. A V-neck and patterned saddle add subtle detail to the design, and the double collar provides an elegant finish.

NOTES
• The body and sleeves are worked flat and seamed.
• A 32” circular is suggested to accommodate the number of stitches in the body, but straight needles can be used for body and sleeves.
• A 16” circular is required for working collar.
• Maintain a 1-stitch stockinette selvedge throughout body and sleeves.
• Schematic indicates measurements of garment pieces before assembly.
• For best results, the designer recommends
using the Sloped Bind Off method (see Special Techniques) for shaping the neck, armhole, and sleeve caps.
