This is a simple toe-up sock pattern with an afterthought heel. It is perfect for knitting in the airport and on long flights as it is a fairly mindless knit. You can knit and knit on the sock and worry about the heel when you get to the airport!

The pattern gives the option for sizes Small (Medium) Large. The length of the sock is completely customizable. The sock is knit in stockinette with a ribbed cuff.

Materials needed include a US size 1 circular needle with an either 32” or 40” cable. Approximately 100 grams of yarn will be used. Much less is needed for socks with shorter legs/cuffs, and shorter foot lengths. Larger sized socks with longer legs/cuffs will use closer to 100 grams of yarn. A tapestry needle and scissors will also be needed. For this example, approximately 300 grams of Life in the Long Grass yarn was used.
