Airson Fir pullover was designed for Josh, the dyer of Red Stag Fiber. His beautiful, tight-twisted Blue Faced Leicester yarn is the real star in this sweater, which features heavy cabling with seed stitch. It is designed for men, but anyone can wear it!

Finished Size:
Chest: 40(44, 48, 52) inches
Length: 15, (15.5, 16, 16.5) inches from cast on edge to underarm. I recommend sizing up; cables can pull in quite a lot. I knit the 44” size for the sample, modelled on a 40” chest.

Yarn: Red Stag Fibre Croft DK, 100% Superwash Blue Faced Leicester wool, 246 yards/100g, 5(5, 5, 6, 7) skeins or approximately 1300(1500, 1700, 1880) yards. Sample knit in Cobblestone. 44” chest size took approximately 570g/1400 yards.

Needles:
US #5/3.75mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle).
Set of US #5/3.75mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round.
Or size to make gauge

Gauge: 20 stitches/24 rows per 4” in blocked stockinette stitch.
