Aisling
UPDATE: Now free! I’ve become very busy, and designing is on hold for a while. I’ll still attempt to address any pattern errors, so let me know!
Aisling is a heart-shaped shawlette designed to use that single gorgeous skein you’ve been hoarding. Worked in garter stitch and Irish mesh for maximum squishiness, Aisling is simple and gorgeous.
This pattern was designed to use a single skein of Madelinetosh Tosh DK, but it can be knit with any yarn of any weight -- makes a great stashbuster. (Also pictured: one skein of Brooklyn Tweed Loft and two balls of Noro Retro.) Use needles a few sizes larger than recommended for a loose, soft drape!
The Tosh shawl is 14” tall with a wingspan of 46”. Gauge is unimportant.
ERRATA:
Garter tab: Row 1 is right side, Row 2 is wrong side.
Stitch count after finishing shawl body will be 129.
