It is inspired by the typical Irish knitting style, which also inspired the name (Aisling = dream). It has a classic and easy to make design that is elegant thanks to the special touch added by the cable stitches. Just looking at it you are transported to a beautiful winter afternoon walking through a lively forest.

Although at first sight it may seem complicated to make, it is very easy to knit. It was designed for the advanced intermediate knitter who wants to deep a toe in the world of cable knitting. The pattern has row by row explanations, as well as a chart that will help you understand it better.

It is worked flat from the bottom up. You can knit it with both straight and circular needles.
